Surgery

Poor Clint...We are watching Clint's brothers two kids this week, while they are having fun in Hawaii. And Clint had to have surgery. What fun!!!! So he has been laid up all week and having to help with kids. What a crazy week!!!!! Ruby has loved it though. She has a friend around all day and night. She and Ella have been having so much fun together and all Ruby can talk about now is Ella and Owen. We are going to be in big trouble when we leave.

Easter...Here is Ruby's Easter basket before she checked it all out

It's been awhile since I have posted anything, so this is just a catch up day. Ruby is just as darling as ever and makes us so happy. She has really been into dressing herself lately. She always wants to pick out her clothes for the day but then she changes about ten different times. She also comes up with great dress up outfits. She has quite the little personality.
Clint has been super busy with school and Army stuff. He is doing so well and is ranked #1 among the cadets...all this while still maintaining a 4.0. What a guy. He is pretty amazing. My parents finally got their mission call. They are going to Brazil and leave in July. We are all so excited for them to have such a fun and neat experience. We recently went to Palm Springs for a little getaway. Ruby had a great time with her cousin Sophia. I will be posting pics of that trip soon.

Chamberlain Family Pictures

Back in December we were able to get a great family picture with everyone in the Chamberlain Family. Clint's sister Carlan did such a great job, she is super talented and put a ton of time into making them beautiful. Clint's dad Doug wanted to get a good family Picture before he started chemo this month. He has been diagnosed with stage 4 bone cancer and has gone through radiation, hormone treatments and now chemo. What a trooper. We love you Doug.

Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! What a fun time of year. We have had such a great time with friends and family. Christmas morning was fun with little Rubes. She had fun opening her presents and especially loved her new dress from Mas. On Christmas Day we drove down to Las Vegas to be with my family, it was fun to hang with Rich and Ester and baby Joseph and Matt and Yoshi. Ruby loves all of her Aunts and Uncles and little cousins. She was so sad when she woke up one morning and we told her that baby Joseph was gone. She started to cry. It was really sad because it made Rich get teary eyed because he won't see Ester and Joseph for 7 months. He has been deployed to Cosovo and will not be home til next December.

Ruby was having way to much fun

Ruby loved this Mermaid show we took her to. She was just staring the whole time.

Christmas Eve with The Chamberlains

Christmas Sunday
Ruby looked so adorable in her Christmas dress and curly hair. She was so happy she finally got to wear it, lucky for her she got to wear it on Christmas Eve too.
After christmas Eve dinner at The Chamberlains, the grandkids put on a program about the birth of Christ. Rachel did such a good job at putting it together and organizing it. She even got Ruby to participate. How cute is she?

Christmas Time

This is the first Christmas in quite a few years that I have not been working non-stop through the Holiday Season. The Chocolate Shop was slways so busy this time of year. I would wake up and go to work and come home and go to sleep and do it all over again and again for about a month. It's been nice this year just having time with my little Rubes and Clint. But I kinda miss making all those yummy treats. So Hilary and I decided to get together and make some of our favorites. We got Erin to help us out, and of course Ruby is always soooo helpful.
Ruby loves being with the girls

This is Ruby helping roll truffles. She thought she was doing such a great job. After a while she realized she could eat the powdered sugar

A weekend with Rich and Ester

We recently took a quick weekend trip to Oakland for "Baby Joses" blessing. It was so much fun to hang with Rich and Ester and their new little guy. Ruby just adored him and wanted to hold him and give him constantly. She couldn't get enough of him. It was so fun to watch her with him. We also made a day trip down to Matt and Yoshi's house in San Jose. We helped them move into their new house while Ruby enjoyed the hot tub. Rich did a great job with the blessing, and it was fun to get to see Ester's family again. Ruby spent the whole day applying her slips (lip gloss), she is such a girl. It was such a great weekend and we definitely needed to get out of town. Thanks Rich and Ester for having us. We love you.

Happy Halloween

Our little Geisha Girl... Halloween was so much fun with Ruby this year. She loved it!!!! I was surprised that she didn't complain about her costume (considering it wasn't a dress). I think the reason she was ok with it was because she got to wear lipstick all night. She caught on quickly to the whole trick-or-treating thing and in no time was pulling us along to the next house. What a doll.

We made another trip to Gardner Village because Ruby kept talking about the witches. This time Clint was able to go with us wich made it that much more fun for Ruby. She even got her face painted.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Today is our Anniversary. It has been 6 years!!!!! I can't believe it, 6 years!!! I just wanted to let you all know how wonderful Clint is. He is the best man I could have hoped for. A few of the many things I absolutely love about Clint are... How sweet he is. He is a very thoughtful person and is genuinely concerned for others. He loves Ruby so much and is always telling her. I love watching how excited they both get when they play together. He adores me and makes me feel special. He is such a good husband. I love you Clint.

Fall is in the Air

This weekend we took ruby to see the Witches at Gardner Village. I was excited to see Ruby's reaction to the Witches. I thought she would love them..... But as you can see she kept her distance. Today all she will talk about is the witches. So I guess she liked it.

Elyse, Ruby and Clara

My cousin Claire and her family came to Salt Lake for conference weekend. It was sooo much fun to have them here, and Ruby just loved having friends around. She still asks about Clara on a daily basis. How cute!!!!
